Congress report swiss public health 2014

Personal continuing education and the exchange between colleagues – these were the expectations of most of the participants at the Swiss Public Health Conference and 3rd Network day for mental health Switzerland from 21 to 22 august 2014.

Within the new campus building of the technical college nord-west Switzerland in Olten the who-is-who of the swiss public health sector gathered from Thursday to Friday for their meeting. The organizing committee is very happy to announce, that the ambitious goal of the number of participants could be accomplished with 450 registrations. The participants dedicated themselves to networking with colleagues and attending the various presentations.

The main theme of the first congress day was the mental health. Mrs. Weil, director of the public health promotion and prevention presented the new manifest for public health, followed by an active discussion by invited guests from politics and the public health sector. The second day was dedicated to the theme of the maintenance structures for psychic illness.
